We have started a countdown! Countdown to the birth of our third child, countdown till we move to

Osaka, and a countdown to the church plant in Osaka.  For those of you

who would like to keep track....6 weeks to our baby girl's birth, 11

weeks till we move and a few weeks after that till the church plant.

Everything is happening so fast but we know God is putting everything

in motion!

Our Little “Jumbo”We had our monthly baby check-up last week. It was amazing to seethe baby through 3D ultrasound. You could see the baby’s features soclearly! After the ultrasound we met with the doctor. She looked atall the test results and then said the baby was “chotto (a little)jumbo!” We could hardly control our laughter. Was she talking abouta jumbo jet or our precious baby? And what did the contradiction ” alittle” mean?The Japanese use many English words in their dailyconversation but none has been as funny as this instance. I am surethey laugh at my (Kelly’s) use of the Japanese language as well.Business Podcast Update: Top 5 on iTunes [http://hb.skyserve.jp/]Joel has continued to make daily business podcasts in Japanese. Ithas been an enjoyable experience connecting with and influencingJapanese businessmen all across the country. Recently the businessmansponsoring the podcast ran up to Joel and excitedly told him that thepodcast was ranked Top 5 on iTunes (Japan) in the Business/Marketingcategory.Women’s Bible StudyI (Kelly) was finally able to schedule another monthly Bible Studyafter all the holidays. We met last week at my house with 4 mothersfrom Joshua & Elisa’s school and two women from Hope Church. Since itwas right around Valentine’s Day, I spoke on God’s love. Afterwards Iasked if there were any prayer requests. At first no one wanted tosay anything as this was probably the first time anybody had everasked them that question.Gradually they opened up,shared theirrequests and we all prayed together.Later, I received an email from one of the mothers saying that when weprayed she felt a peace and a “warm” feeling. She didn’t really knowhow to describe it but we all know that was God working on her heart.Osaka Update

We have a praise report from one of our team members.  They areplanning on moving to Osaka in March so their son can begin the newschool year in April.  The husband just had his first job interview inOsaka and they have already found a house that they really like.  Weare so excited to see God working on their behalf.

From Where We StandElisa- Hey!!!! A few weeks ago I took a week off school to go to thepastors conference. I had to do two dances in front of over 500people!!! At first I was nervous but as soon as the dance started Iwasn’t nervous at all! I loved doing the hiphop  dance. I also had todo another dance where I had to sing with a mic while I was dancing.It was so fun!!!Joshua-Hi!  I went to a conference with my parents.  My sister and Idid a dance in front of everyone.  First we did a hiphop dance with afew other kids and then we did a normal dance with all of the kids.It was fun!  We wore pink tshirts too!Japanese Pastor’s ConferenceAlmost 600 pastors gathered from all over Japan for the annualPastor’s conference.  Pastor Frank , Pastor Sharon and Pastor

Marc Estes from our home church City Bible Church were the main

speakers.  It was so encouraging to hear from each one of them.

Many pastors commented on the how blessed they were and it being

exactly what they needed to hear.  Joel and I really enjoyed talking

with Pastor Frank and Sharon and being able to hear their wisdom and

advice regarding the Osaka church plant.  Pastor Frank also spoke at

Hope Church.  We were able to connect live to the GenUnleashed Conferenceat CBC during Pastor Frank's ministry time at Hope Church.  HopeChurch was so inspired to see 4200 youth worshipping God with alltheir hearts.  We believe that the same thing can happen in Japan.
