I had promised to take the kids to Disneyland in the Fall and I kept my promise this week. Actually I have been trying since the beginning of October, but finally succeeded. It just seemed like it wasn’t going to work out, but I did not want to break a promise to my kids and kept trying to fit it into our schedule. Wednesday was the perfect day for a trip to D-land. It was the only sunny day of the week, lines were short and everything seem to work out perfectly. Coincidence? I don’t think so. God’s blessing and favor? You bet!

I began to think about how God is always faithful in fulfilling His promises. If I can work hard and keep a promise, imagine all of God’s promises that will be fulfilled! It just so happen that I read Ezekiel 37 day after we went to D-land. In 37:14 it says “You will see that I have done everything just as I promised. I, the Lord, have spoken!”
God has promised Kelly and I so many things regarding our church plant in Osaka. We are moving forward completely in faith, but we also know that we are relying on an absolute God who will absolutely be faithful to guide and provide as continues to fulfill all of His promises.
What are some of His promises that have not come to pass yet in your life? Don’t worry, God has never broken His promise!
